OET About Us
Oregon Elite Tennis is designed for competitive junior players at the advanced or intermediate level. We help students define and achieve their goals while emphasizing the fundamentals of tennis through footwork, proper stroke technique, and mental toughness. As each player grows their game, they are held accountable for putting forth their utmost effort while positively influencing their peers. All classes are held at the Babette Horenstein Tennis Center (formerly Tualatin Hills Tennis Center).

Our Mission
To provide a challenging and competitive environment building respectful, resilient and confident athletes who compete like champions on and off the tennis court.
Our Community
Oregon Elite Tennis is a community of players, coaches, and parents who support each other and provide a positive influence on one another. Here competition is cultivated alongside kindness, and respect is valued alongside resilience.

OET Philosophy
The OET coaching philosophy is based on Jonathan Stark’s successful professional playing career and closely aligned with the USTA - teaching and developing the fundamental skills that enable the player to have the most complete game possible.
We then use the following three pillars identified by Jonathan Stark to best equip OET players with the tools they need to reach their full potential and to perform at their utmost ability:

Mental Toughness
An emphasis on mental training to develop competitive strength and character.

Physical Fitness
A focus on fitness and nutrition to develop mobility, stability, strength, speed, quickness, power, and conditioning.

Match Play
Weekly singles and doubles competitive matches with limited players on the court to maximize individual coaching opportunities.
Our Goals

To empower each player to define and achieve his or her goals in tennis and in life.

To help each player develop character, work ethic, perseverance, resilience nd mental toughness.

To prepare each player to compete at high school and college levels - and beyond.
