OET FAQ

The OET Coaching staff will consider all requests individually. Due to limited court availability and the 4:1 player-to-coach ratio per court, there are typically very few openings each quarterly session. Contact the OET coaching staff to inquire. We will respond as quickly as possible.

OET requires that you complete and sign a liability waiver form and a social media waiver form.

Before the start of the sessions, the OET Tennis Director will create the groups based on UTR level and coach discretion.

During a typical training session, each player will have the opportunity for on-court coaching (including drills and live ball play) and off-court fitness training.

As a general rule, there are no credits or refunds for the OET tennis program. However, OET will do its best to accommodate makeup lessons due to unforeseen circumstances.

If Mother Nature prohibits on-court play, we may adjust the schedule to offer off-court fitness training or strategy discussions. If the weather necessitates a complete cancellation of training, we will notify all OET members as soon as possible through our website and social media channels.

The ideal scenario is up to four players to one coach on the court during the indoor season and up to six players during the outdoor season.

Oregon Elite Tennis is different by design. Most notably, we are smaller so that we can bring together a strong & competitive community for tennis families in the Portland area.

OET students should bring their tennis gear (along with extra racquets), water, sun protection (hats, towels, arm sleeves, sunscreen), and optional fitness equipment (foam rollers, resistance bands, yoga mats, etc.)

Once the daily program starts, OET students must have their cell phones in their tennis bag and will only be able to access their phones on breaks.
